Most have no idea this was prophesied in the Bible to take place and what is to follow in the near future. Will you be Raptured up when Jesus returns or be 'Left Behind' to face God's wrath and fury during the Tribulation? Our Generation WILL witness the 'beginning of the end' and the not-too-distant beginning of the Tribulation. My sole purpose in presenting The Bible prophecies and comparing them to current day events is to encourage those that may be on the fence or on the wrong side of the fence to see that The Bible is God's Holy word, and it is prophecies that are coming to pass and being fulfilled on a daily basis so that you can see the truth and reality of The Bible.There are no false prophets in The Bible and there are no false prophecies. With this single event as one of the final judgements on mankind towards the end of the 7 year Great Tribulation, it's easy to understand where we are on the timeline for 'the time of the end' and 'the last days.' Even two decades ago, it would have been seen as an unimaginable and totally unrealistic occurance. Through 2600 years of Bible prophecies, noone could ever have imagined this mighty river being dried up. In Biblical times it served as a natural barrier to protect Israel from invading armies out of the East due to its depth, width, and difficulty to cross.

The Euphrates River flows some 2000 miles through the Middle East and is mentioned 5 times in the Bible as the 'great river' all the way back to the creation of man and woman by God in the Garden of Eden. This clears the way for the armies of the east with 200 million troups(Revelation 9:16) to cross by land into the Valley of Meggido for the 'end of man kind,' 'the war to end all wars' otherwise known as 'Armageddon.'

The Euphrates River drying up is HUGE in it's significance to the end time prophecies as one of the 'bowl judgments' that takes places near the end of the Great Tribulation.(Revelation 16:12).
